Job Summary
The Site Engineer is responsible for overseeing on-site construction activities related to building and development projects, ensuring work is executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards. The role involves close coordination with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure timely project delivery while maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory norms.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage on-site construction activities for building and development works, ensuring projects are completed on time and within approved budgets.
- Interpret and review architectural and engineering drawings, specifications, and BOQs for accurate execution on site.
- Monitor progress, workmanship, and quality of construction to ensure compliance with project standards and specifications.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow and timely material availability.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify construction issues and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations at the site.
- Maintain detailed site documentation including daily progress reports (DPRs), material consumption records, and quality checklists.
- Support the Project Manager in planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and basic cost control activities.
- Provide technical guidance to junior engineers, supervisors, and site staff as required.
- Assist in resolving on-site technical and execution-related issues during different stages of construction.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience as a Site Engineer, preferably in building construction and development projects (residential, commercial, or mixed-use).
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and execution practices.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Office, and basic project planning tools (MS Project preferred).
- Ability to read, interpret, and execute work as per technical drawings and specifications.
- Knowledge of applicable building codes, quality standards, and site safety regulations.
- Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

Pay: ₹11,346.39 - ₹70,155.62 per month
