We are seeking a skilled Site Engineer preferably Arabic Speaking to join our team on the Sharjah Project to assist in executing construction works in line with project specifications and company standards.

Position Summary:
The Site Engineer will assist the Civil Engineer in supervising on-site construction activities, ensuring timely completion, quality compliance, safety, and adherence to project specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Construction & Quality Management

• Report directly to the Civil Engineer and provide regular updates on site progress and issues.
• Review drawings and method statements with subordinates before commencing any activity.
• Ensure all construction materials are approved before use.
• Supervise on-site activities to meet quality, safety, and productivity standards.
• Coordinate with QA/QC teams to resolve any quality issues and close Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
• Prepare and submit Inspection Requests (IRs) according to approved Inspection Test Plans (ITPs).
• Maintain daily site reports detailing progress, delays, and resource requirements.

Safety & EHS Responsibilities

• Implement EHS-CMP in the work area and ensure compliance with site safety regulations.
• Conduct risk assessments and communicate safety measures to the team.
• Ensure all accidents, near misses, and unsafe acts are reported immediately.
• Organize and conduct regular toolbox meetings and safety briefings.
• Monitor equipment, tools, and chemical handling as per MSDS and company safety standards.

Other Duties

• Ensure site tidiness and cleanliness.
• Provide input for construction planning and program formulation.
• Maintain records in line with company management systems.
• Perform additional duties as directed by higher management.

Job Interactions:

• Coordinate with Civil Engineer, Construction Dept. Deputy Manager, and Technical Department.
• Liaise with subcontractors to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Follow up on RFIs, shop drawings, NCRs, and Corrective Action Requests (CARs).

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Proven 5+ years of experience as a Site Engineer in construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and quality standards.
• Familiarity with EHS standards and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and reporting skills.
• Ability to supervise teams effectively and ensure compliance with safety and quality requirements.

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per day
