Site Engineer - Dubai - High Rise - Construction

Key Responsibilities1. Site Supervision & Execution

• Oversee daily construction activities to ensure work is carried out as per the approved plans and method statements.
• Coordinate with site supervisors, foremen, and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow.
• Monitor progress and report deviations or risks to the Site Manager / Project Engineer.

2. Technical & Engineering Support

• Review IFC drawings, shop drawings, and coordinate with the technical team for clarifications (RFI).
• Ensure correct installation of structural elements, formwork, rebar, concrete works, and finishing items based on project stage.
• Assist in preparing method statements and work inspection requests (WIR).

3. Quality Assurance & Compliance

• Conduct inspections for all activities and ensure compliance with project specifications and Dubai Municipality / local authority standards.
• Coordinate with QA/QC team for inspections and rectify non-conformance reports (NCRs).
• Ensure materials delivered to site meet approved material submittals.

4. Health, Safety, and Environment

• Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations and site safety procedures.
• Conduct toolbox talks and ensure workers follow PPE and safety protocols.
• Report unsafe conditions or incidents to the HSE team immediately.

5. Coordination & Communication

• Liaise with subcontractors, consultants, and internal teams for smooth execution of works.
• Attend site coordination meetings and provide updates on progress and site issues.
• Communicate effectively with procurement/logistics for material requirements.

6. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain daily site reports, manpower allocations, and progress tracking.
• Prepare joint measurement sheets, material requests (MR), and assist in verification of subcontractor work.
• Support planning team with actual site progress for weekly/monthly reporting.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3–5 years experience in high-rise building construction (preferred UAE experience).
• Strong knowledge of structural works, concrete technology, and finishing works.
• Familiarity with Dubai Municipality (DM), Trakhees, Emaar, and other authority procedures.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project documentation.
• Excellent site coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
