Site Engineer – Fit-Out

We are looking for Site Engineer – Fit-Out to become a part of fast growing and passionate team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Direct Supervision of Fit-Out Works (Main Function)
Be present on site to directly supervise all fit-out activities (joinery, finishes, MEP interfaces).
Check quality in real time and ensure strict compliance with approved drawings and specs.
Identify defects early, coordinate rectification and target 90%+ first-time inspection pass rate.

2. Site Coordination & Quality Control
Coordinate daily works between subcontractors, suppliers and internal team.
Resolve site issues (access, sequence, clashes) quickly to avoid delays.

3. Planning, Progress & Dashboards
Support 2–3 week look-ahead plans and daily/weekly activity planning.
Update progress against the programme and maintain simple digital dashboards (% progress, milestones, snags).

4. Reporting & Documentation
Issue concise daily digital site reports (work vs plan, manpower, photos, key issues).
Keep records of inspections, RFIs, approvals and site instructions.

5. Liaison with Building / Community Management & Stakeholders
Coordinate with building/community managements (e.g. Emaar, Nakheel, etc.) on access, delivery timings, waste removal and building rules.
Support day-to-day communication with consultants, clients and suppliers.

6. Health, Safety & Housekeeping
Enforce PPE, safe work practices and clean work areas.
Support toolbox talks with a target of zero lost-time incidents.

Requirements:

Technical: Strong understanding of fit-out works, materials and site construction processes.
Experience: 1–3 years site engineering/site management experience in the UAE fit-out market.
Planning: Able to read programmes and support short-term look-ahead planning and progress tracking.
Liaison: Confident dealing with building/community management for access, logistics and compliance.
Mindset: Hands-on, supervision-focused, high ownership, problem-solving and willingness to learn fast.
Communication: Excellent written and spoken English.
License: Valid UAE driver’s license.
