Site engineer for MEP and maintenance works

Job Description & Responsibilities:

• Supervise and execute MEP works including Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, and Fire Fighting as per drawings and specifications
• Handle maintenance works such as breakdown maintenance, preventive maintenance, and corrective actions
• Coordinate daily site activities with foremen, technicians, and subcontractors
• Ensure work execution complies with approved drawings, method statements, and safety standards
• Conduct site inspections and report progress to the Project Engineer / Project Manager
• Identify material requirements and coordinate with the procurement team
• Monitor quality of work and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks
• Prepare daily work reports, site logs, and maintenance records
• Attend site meetings and coordinate with consultants and main contractors when required
• Ensure adherence to HSE regulations at site
• Support testing, commissioning, and handover activities

Skills & Competencies:

• Good knowledge of MEP systems and maintenance practices
• Ability to read and understand MEP drawings and schematics
• Basic knowledge of tools, materials, and site execution methods
• Strong coordination and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
• Basic computer skills (MS Excel, Word – preferred)

Qualification:

• Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / HVAC / Plumbing or
• ITI (Electrical / Mechanical / HVAC / Plumbing) – Minimum requirement
