Our newest opportunity is for a talented Senior Quantity Surveyor Manager to join our client in Jeddah.
This position is responsible for implementing cost controls and financial control procedures as outlined in the construction contracts. Other responsibilities will include; measure and assess the client’s variations to the construction works and contractor’s claims for changes, evaluate contractor’s monthly interim payment applications and identify areas of concern and assess their potential impact upon the project budget.
Responsibilities:
Our newest opportunity is for a talented Site Engineer - HSSE to join our team based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
We envisage success in this role to include;

Implement and monitor HSSE policies, procedures, and site safety plans

Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments

Identify hazards and ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented

Ensure compliance with local regulations, client requirements, and international standards

Monitor contractor activities to ensure adherence to HSSE standards
-
Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness programs
-
Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses; prepare detailed reports
-
Maintain HSSE documentation, reports, and records
-
Support emergency response planning and conduct drills
-
Coordinate with project teams to ensure safe execution of all construction activities
-
Promote a proactive safety culture across all site personnel
Qualifications:
To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that your career journey to date will include 12 years of work experience partnered with a Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
Other selection criteria:

12–15 years of overall experience, with a strong focus on HSSE in construction projects

Proven PMC / consultancy experience (highly preferred)
-
Experience on villa, housing, or residential developments, preferably on large-scale programs such as **National Housing Company projects

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field

Strong knowledge of HSSE regulations, standards, and international best practices

Proven experience in conducting risk assessments and incident investigations
-
Good understanding of construction activities (civil, structural, and MEP)

Strong communication, reporting, and stakeholder management skills
-
Ability to influence, enforce, and drive safety compliance on-site
-
Previous experience working in Saudi Arabia, preferably in Jeddah or on mega projects

Arabic speaker (required)

Saudi nationals preferred

Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or OSHA

Experience working with developers, main contractors, or PMC environments
