Site Engineer (HVAC)

​The HVAC Site Engineer is a critical role responsible for overseeing the installation, testing, and commissioning of Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems on a construction site. This position bridges the gap between the design office and the actual construction work.

​Key Responsibilities

​Site Management & Supervision: Directing and supervising on-site work teams (technicians, fitters) to ensure installation is done according to approved drawings and specifications.

​Quality Control & Compliance: Conducting regular inspections to ensure the quality of work and compliance with safety, environmental, and industry regulations (e.g., F-Gas handling).

​Coordination: Liaising with other engineering disciplines (MEP coordination), project managers, clients, and vendors to ensure seamless project execution.

​Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving technical issues, design discrepancies, and site challenges that arise during installation.

​Documentation: Preparing and obtaining approval for shop drawings, work method statements, daily progress reports, and close-out documentation like test reports and commissioning logs.

​Testing & Commissioning: Overseeing the functional testing and final commissioning of the HVAC system to ensure it operates correctly.

​Qualifications

​A Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with substantial relevant experience can sometimes be considered.

1 to 4 years of work Experience.
