Job Summary

As a Site Engineer, you will be the key on-site representative, responsible for overseeing the entire project lifecycle for our interior design and fit-out ventures. You will be tasked with managing all site activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget while maintaining our rigorous quality standards. This role requires a hands-on approach to problem-solving, meticulous attention to detail, and a strong ability to coordinate with various teams and subcontractors. You will act as the crucial link between the project manager and the on-site workforce, driving project success through effective communication and proactive management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management & Execution: Lead and manage on-site fit-out and interior design projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and as per specifications. This includes supervising all construction activities, from civil works to finishing and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) installations.
• Quality Control & Compliance: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure all work adheres to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Verify that all work complies with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
• Team & Subcontractor Coordination: Effectively manage and coordinate a diverse team of workers, including foremen, carpenters, masons, and electricians, as well as a variety of subcontractors. Foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed project logs, daily reports, and progress updates. Document any changes, delays, or issues and communicate them clearly to the project manager and other stakeholders.
• Problem-Solving: Proactively identify potential issues and challenges on-site and develop effective solutions to keep the project on track. Respond quickly to any unforeseen problems to minimize disruption and cost.
• Material & Resource Management: Oversee the scheduling and delivery of materials and equipment, ensuring everything required is available when needed to avoid project delays. Manage on-site inventory to prevent wastage and theft.

Qualifications

• Education: A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is required.
• Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience as a site engineer, specifically within the interior design and fit-out industry.
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of construction methodologies, site management, and project coordination. Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural and MEP drawings.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. The ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously is essential.
• Licensing & Transport: A valid UAE driving license and own car are mandatory for this position, as frequent travel between project sites is required.
• Location: Candidates must be based in the UAE and have a strong understanding of local regulations and market practices.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED12,000.00 - AED14,000.00 per month
