Site Engineer – Metal Industries

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate all metal work activities at the project site including structural steel, aluminum, stainless steel, and fabrication works.
• Review engineering drawings, fabrication drawings, and ensure accuracy in dimensions and materials.
• Ensure work is executed according to approved shop drawings, quality standards, and project specifications.
• Monitor daily progress, manpower allocation, and equipment usage.
• Conduct inspections of welding, fitting, cutting, and finishing works.
• Coordinate with design, procurement, and project management teams to ensure timely material delivery and workflow.
• Maintain site safety and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports.
• Liaise with consultants, contractors, and clients for site inspections and approvals.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and resolve site challenges promptly.
