Site Engineer - Signage Riyadh based company

1. Job Purpose

The Site Engineer is responsible for supervising and managing signage installation and site-related activities, ensuring that all works are executed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, and client requirements.

The role involves coordination between clients, consultants, project team, fabrication unit, and subcontractors to ensure timely completion of signage projects.

2. Key Responsibilities

Project Execution

  • Supervise installation of internal and external signage, including:
  • LED channel letters
  • Wayfinding signage
  • Totems and pylons
  • Billboards and unipoles
  • ACP cladding signage
  • Mall signage and branding works
  • Ensure installation follows approved drawings, design specifications, and site conditions.
  • Conduct site measurements and site surveys before fabrication.
  • Coordinate with the production team and factory regarding fabrication details.

Site Supervision

  • Supervise installation teams, technicians, and subcontractors at site.
  • Ensure work is completed within project schedule and quality standards.
  • Monitor daily progress and manpower productivity.
  • Ensure proper material handling and installation techniques.

Client & Consultant Coordination

  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, and main contractors regarding site activities.
  • Attend site meetings and progress discussions.
  • Resolve technical issues or installation challenges.

Health & Safety Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with site safety regulations and company safety standards.
  • Implement safety procedures for:
  • Working at height
  • Crane operations
  • Scaffold work
  • Electrical connections
  • Ensure proper use of PPE by all workers.

Quality Control

  • Ensure signage installation meets design standards and lighting quality.
  • Inspect materials such as:
  • Acrylic
  • Stainless steel
  • Aluminum
  • ACP panels
  • LED modules
  • Verify alignment, finishing, and illumination quality.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Prepare and submit:
  • Daily site reports
  • Installation progress reports
  • Material requirements
  • Site measurement reports
  • Maintain project documentation and drawings.
  • Report delays, risks, or issues to management.

3. Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 3–5 years experience in signage, fit-out, or construction industry
  • Experience with signage installation and branding projects

4. Required Skills

  • Strong site supervision and project coordination skills
  • Knowledge of signage fabrication materials and installation techniques
  • Ability to read technical drawings and shop drawings
  • Good communication with clients and contractors
  • Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and project documentation
  • Problem-solving and decision-making ability

5. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Project completion within schedule
  • Installation quality and finishing standards
  • Client satisfaction
  • Safety compliance at site
  • Proper coordination with production and project teams

6. Working Conditions

  • Frequent site visits and field supervision
  • Work may involve night shifts for mall installations
  • Travel between project sites when required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: BD300.000 - BD350.000 per month
