Site Engineer/ Sr. Site Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Site Engineer/Sr. Site Engineer to manage day-to-day operations on construction sites, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, good communication skills, and the ability to manage subcontractors and teams on site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee on-site construction activities and ensure project milestones are met
• Interpret technical drawings, plans, and specifications and ensure they are followed accurately
• Coordinate with project managers, architects, subcontractors, and other stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Manage site resources, including labor, materials, and equipment
• Monitor site progress and prepare regular reports on work status
• Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties or problems on-site
• Conduct quality control checks and inspections to ensure workmanship meets required

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
• 1–5+ years of site engineering or construction experience (based on level)
• Sound knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety procedures
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, or other engineering/project management software
• Good communication and organizational skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing site conditions

Preferred Skills:

• Certification in health and safety
• Experience in [specific sector – e.g., residential, commercial, infrastructure, industrial]
• Knowledge of local construction regulations and codes
