Site Engineer – Steel Structure / PEB / Fit-Out

We are looking for a highly experienced Site Engineer with strong background in Steel Structure Erection, PEB projects, Fit-Out works, and Civil Sub-Contracting activities. The candidate will be responsible for managing site execution, coordinating with clients and consultants, and ensuring timely project completion as per drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and execute steel structure erection works (columns, beams, rafters, bracings, trusses, etc.)
• Manage PEB installation activities including cladding, roofing, gutters, downpipes
• Coordinate fit-out activities (gypsum, partitions, ceiling, flooring, finishing works)
• Oversee civil sub-contract works (foundations, anchor bolts, pedestals, slab casting, block work)
• Review shop drawings and ensure site work as per approved drawings
• Prepare and monitor site work programs and daily progress reports
• Coordinate with QA/QC team for MIR, WIR submissions and inspections
• Ensure proper manpower allocation and material planning
• Conduct site measurements and coordinate with QS for billing
• Handle NCR closures and coordinate with consultant/client for approvals
• Ensure HSE compliance and safe working practices
• Attend site meetings and provide technical clarifications

Technical Skills Required

• Strong knowledge of steel fabrication & erection methodology
• Experience in PEB structures
• Familiar with civil foundations for steel structures
• Ability to read structural and architectural drawings
• Knowledge of site documentation (MIR, WIR, ITP, Method Statements)
• Good coordination skills with consultant & client
• Familiar with erection equipment (cranes, manlifts, etc.)
• Knowledge of project scheduling.

Qualification

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
• 3–8+ years UAE/GCC experience preferred
• Experience in steel fabrication / PEB companies preferred
• Civil sub-contractor experience also acceptable
• Valid UAE Driving License (Preferred)
