Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and versatile Fitter to join our construction and Fabrication team.The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various systems and structures across multiple sites. Duties

• Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to execute installation and repair tasks accurately
• Use hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to carry out fitting, welding a advantage
• Install roofing, glass, fabrication, and construction components as required
• Conduct maintenance and repairs on existing structures and systems to ensure safety and compliance standards are met
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to health and safety regulations
• Assist in the fabrication of components on-site or in workshops as necessary
• Ensure all work is completed to high standards of quality and professionalism

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction trades such as welding, masonry, or carpentry
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment used in fitting tasks
• Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings accurately
• Knowledge of construction safety standards and protocols
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
• Relevant qualifications or certifications in construction-related disciplines are desirable but not essential
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility to adapt to different project requirements and site conditions
