The role
We are looking for a Site Inspector Material for a Roads and Highways project based in Kuchlak, Balochistan, Pakistan. The candidate must have experience in field inspection and testing of construction materials on highway or similar infrastructure projects to ensure quality standards and compliance with project specifications.

Perform duties as defined by the Resident Engineer.

Conduct field testing of highway embankments, pavement structures, and other construction materials.

Carry out asphalt and other material testing to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Verify the suitability and acceptance of construction materials according to project specifications.

Inspect material delivery, handling, and storage on-site to ensure quality standards are maintained.

Assist in maintaining proper documentation of test results, field observations, and site activities.

Support the Resident Engineer in monitoring material quality and testing procedures.

Assist in sampling and testing of materials in both field and laboratory settings.

Ensure adherence to project safety and environmental regulations during material handling and testing.
With a track record of achievement in a related role, you will have gained your experience in a consultancy environment and have a passion for building trusted relationships to drive positive change and win new work.
Suitable applicants will have/be:

Tertiary qualifications: Diploma in Civil or B.Sc. in Civil Engineering.

Minimum 2-5 years’ experience as a material inspector on highway construction projects.

Knowledge of field-testing procedures for embankments, pavements, and asphalt.

Strong attention to detail and ability to adhere to technical specifications.
