Site Manager (Full-time/ 1 Year Project-based)

You will join the team that is providing professional consultancy experience predominantly to designated project and site management regarding the upcoming office building renovation project of a client’s property portfolio. This role will see you while working and interacting with the client.

We’re seeking a site manager who is civil engineer or architect with minimum 10-years site management professional experience, regarding the role which is described below:

Qualifications and Skills

The successful candidate needs to be a confident and a ‘self-starter’, who will help to the development of the project & development services team in Türkiye.

• Minimum 10 years site management experience required,
• Minimum university degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture
• Proficiency in all CAD is a must, BIM, Revit, Sketchup and 3Ds Max knowledge is a plus
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, relationship management
• Diligent and flexible, able to work both independently
• Resident in Istanbul, able to access the location in daily basis (Nispetiye, Beşiktaş)
• Proficiency and fluency in English, is a plus
• On-site presence for 6 days per week , is a must
• Payroll will be on third party

Job Duties

• Daily/weekly/monthly site progress reporting and documentation to the project manager
• Quality assurance/control, carrying out contractors’ supervision during the construction works, as per relevant design documentation, guidelines, specifications, quality management procedures etc.
• Evaluation/coordination of the deliverables from the contractor(s)
• Cooperation with MEP engineers and H&S auditor during regular audits and feedbacks to the contractor(s)
• Progress payment management for unit-price based construction agreement
• Supporting external contractors and clients with presentation and marketing materials
• Auditing, following, reporting contractor’ s work/procurement schedules in regular basis
• Auditing, following, reporting contractor’ s risk management plans in regular basis
• Technical commentary/approval over shop drawings of the contractor(s)
• Technical commentary of change order requests
• Coordination of testing & commissioning stage
• Management of project handover and defect elimination stages
