Site Mechanical Engineer

Job Summary:

We are looking for two experienced Site Mechanical Engineers with 6 years of experience to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for overseeing the mechanical installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems on-site. This role requires technical expertise, leadership skills, and a strong focus on ensuring the timely and quality completion of mechanical works.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage mechanical installation works on-site, ensuring compliance with specifications, drawings, and safety standards.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, engineers, and the project team to ensure the mechanical systems are installed according to the project schedule.
• Conduct inspections and tests of mechanical systems to ensure proper functionality and compliance with the design.
• Assist in preparing mechanical shop drawings, material submittals, and technical reports.
• Ensure compliance with mechanical safety regulations, quality standards, and project specifications.
• Provide technical support and resolve mechanical issues that may arise on-site.
• Participate in the commissioning of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, etc.) and ensure a smooth handover to the client.
• Monitor progress and provide regular updates to the project manager on the status of mechanical works.
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of all mechanical work-related documents.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with at least 3 years in site-based roles.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, etc.) and construction processes.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and other engineering software.
• Excellent knowledge of mechanical standards, codes, and safety regulations.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• Strong leadership and teamwork abilities.
