Job Summary:
We are looking for two experienced Site Mechanical Engineers with 6 years of experience to join our team. The successful candidates will be responsible for overseeing the mechanical installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems on-site. This role requires technical expertise, leadership skills, and a strong focus on ensuring the timely and quality completion of mechanical works.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage mechanical installation works on-site, ensuring compliance with specifications, drawings, and safety standards.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, engineers, and the project team to ensure the mechanical systems are installed according to the project schedule.
- Conduct inspections and tests of mechanical systems to ensure proper functionality and compliance with the design.
- Assist in preparing mechanical shop drawings, material submittals, and technical reports.
- Ensure compliance with mechanical safety regulations, quality standards, and project specifications.
- Provide technical support and resolve mechanical issues that may arise on-site.
- Participate in the commissioning of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, etc.) and ensure a smooth handover to the client.
- Monitor progress and provide regular updates to the project manager on the status of mechanical works.
- Ensure proper documentation and filing of all mechanical work-related documents.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with at least 3 years in site-based roles.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, etc.) and construction processes.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, and other engineering software.
- Excellent knowledge of mechanical standards, codes, and safety regulations.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
- Strong leadership and teamwork abilities.
