Site QC Engineer – Aluminium & Glazing

Experience in Aluminium / Glazing / Façade Projects Required

Only candidates with hands-on experience in aluminium, glazing, or façade systems (windows, doors, curtain walls, cladding, skylights, etc.) will be considered.

Job Summary

We are seeking a Site Quality Control Engineer with strong expertise in aluminium and glazing works to oversee quality at all stages — from material inspection to fabrication and site installation. The role ensures compliance with project specifications, approved drawings, and industry standards, maintaining high-quality deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor Project Quality Plan (PQP), ITPs, and QC procedures for aluminium & glazing works.
• Inspect incoming materials, including profiles, glass, sealants, hardware, and fasteners.
• Perform fabrication checks in workshop: cutting, assembly, glazing, and hardware fitting.
• Conduct site inspections for installation of frames, curtain walls, and cladding systems.
• Verify alignment, verticality, and weatherproofing during installation.
• Prepare and submit daily/weekly QC reports, NCRs, and CAPA records.
• Coordinate RFIs and inspections with consultants and clients.
• Support functional testing (water, air, and operation tests).
• Maintain all quality documentation and ensure proper close-out of NCRs.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
• 2–4 years experience as QC Engineer in Aluminium / Glazing / Façade industry.
• Strong knowledge of shop drawings, method statements, and QA/QC procedures.
• Familiar with water & air test procedures, material inspection, and site QC coordination.
• Excellent reporting, documentation, and communication skills.
