Site Safety Supervisor

Job Summary
Weekly site safety auditing in mammoth lake, CA. One day per week 4-8 hours per day.

Per Diem.

This is a remote location, so we are seeking a safety professional that is somewhat nearby to mammoth lake, IE - Mammoth, Reno NV, Lancaster CA. You must be able to travel to this location one day a week. There is a possibilty of it turning into more hours.

Duties

• Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive safety plans tailored to each construction site, aligning with OSHA standards and NEC requirements.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions promptly.
• Lead safety training sessions for construction teams, emphasizing occupational health principles, hazard recognition, and emergency response procedures.
• Manage incident investigations by documenting occurrences thoroughly, analyzing root causes, and coordinating appropriate corrective measures.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations, including workers' compensation policies and EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) standards.
• Collaborate with construction management teams to integrate safety into daily operations and project planning.
• Maintain accurate safety records using construction management software, track compliance metrics, and prepare reports for stakeholders.

Requirements

• Proven experience in construction site supervision with a strong understanding of construction management practices.
• In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations, NEC standards, workers' compensation processes, and occupational health protocols.
• Demonstrated ability in risk management and compliance management within a construction environment.
• Familiarity with EHS principles and the use of construction management software for record-keeping and reporting.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively train teams and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
• Valid certifications in OSHA safety standards; additional certifications related to construction management or environmental health are a plus.

Pay: $40.00 - $75.00 per hour
