Site Supervisor
Overview
A Site Supervisor oversees daily operations at a construction, industrial, or maintenance site. They ensure work is completed safely, on time, within budget, and according to project specifications. The role involves coordinating workers, monitoring progress, enforcing safety standards, and maintaining communication between contractors, managers, and clients.
Key Responsibilities1. Site Management & Coordination
- Supervise day-to-day site operations and work activities
- Assign tasks to workers and subcontractors
- Monitor progress to ensure schedules and deadlines are met
- Coordinate equipment, materials, and deliveries to the site
2. Safety & Compliance
- Enforce workplace health and safety (WHS) standards
- Conduct regular safety inspections and toolbox talks
- Identify and report hazards, incidents, or non-compliance
- Ensure workers follow company policies and legal regulations
3. Quality Control
- Review work to ensure it meets project specifications and standards
- Inspect materials and workmanship for quality assurance
- Resolve onsite issues quickly to avoid delays
4. Communication & Reporting
- Act as the main point of contact between workers, project managers, and clients
- Report on daily progress, delays, and site conditions
- Prepare site documentation (logs, incident reports, attendance, etc.)
5. Team Leadership
- Motivate and guide workers to maintain productivity
- Train new staff on processes, equipment use, and safety procedures
- Address conflicts or performance issues
Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or similar role
- Strong knowledge of construction/industry-specific processes
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability
- Understanding of WHS regulations

Pay: Up to ₹31,247.21 per month
