Site Supervisor

Position: Site Supervisor – Fit-Out & Joinery

Job Description:

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Site Supervisor with a strong background in interior fit-out and joinery works. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily site operations, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring high standards of workmanship are maintained throughout the project lifecycle. This role requires someone with strong leadership, technical knowledge, and the ability to manage multiple tasks on site.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise all on-site activities related to interior fit-out and custom joinery works.
• Ensure project timelines, quality standards, and safety regulations are strictly followed.
• Coordinate with project managers, designers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Monitor and manage site labor force and subcontractors.
• Read and interpret drawings, BOQs, and project specifications.
• Ensure correct materials and tools are available on site as per project schedule.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure all works are carried out as per approved drawings and specifications.
• Report daily progress, site issues, and manpower status to the Project Manager.
• Resolve any site-related technical issues in coordination with the design and technical teams.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and organization on the site.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in supervising fit-out and joinery projects, preferably in the interior contracting industry.
• Strong understanding of woodwork/joinery details, finishes, materials, and fit-out procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Familiarity with local regulations, safety procedures, and construction standards.
• Good leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work under pressure.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic project reporting tools.
