Site Supervisor (Civil) – Project Based | Karachi

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of industry site experience
• Minimum 02 industrial project execution experiences are mandatory
• Experience in industrial building projects will be preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day site execution activities as per approved drawings, specifications, and project standards
• Monitor structural and finishing works
• Ensure implementation of approved material testing procedures for structural and finishing items
• Conduct and monitor quality control activities including concrete slump testing, concrete compressive strength (cube) testing, field density testing (FDT), reinforcement inspection, and formwork inspection and checking
• Maintain proper records of Inspection Requests (IRs) prior to execution of each activity, work permits and site safety approvals, concrete pouring records and testing reports, and daily progress reports along with QA/QC documentation.
• Verify line, level, alignment, and dimensions using survey instruments including Auto Level, Theodolite, and Total Station.
• Check shuttering/form work quality, dimensions, supports, and levels before concrete pouring
• Checking Bar Bending Schedule
• Verify quantities of materials and executed works as per BOQ/billing requirements
• Review and coordinate shop drawings and construction drawings before execution
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, QA/QC team, and internal stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, QA/QC standards, and HSE requirements
• Resolve technical and site execution issues in coordination with the project team
• Ensure work completion within approved timelines and project schedule
• Prepare Daily Progress Reports (DPRs) including site activities, manpower, equipment, and material status, and maintain planned vs actual progress percentage as per approved Gantt chart/Primavera schedule, highlighting variances, delays, reasons and submit progress updates on a daily/weekly basis.

Required Skills

• Strong site execution and supervision skills
• Good knowledge of QA/QC procedures and material testing standards
• Hands-on experience with survey instruments and level checking
• Ability to verify quantities, BBS and review shop drawings
• Skills in AutoCAD and MS Word
• Ability to maintain inspection records and work permit documentation
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and BOQs
• Good coordination and communication skills
• Knowledge of industrial construction practices and site safety requirements
