Site Supervisor cum Draftsman

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Site Supervisor cum Draftsman to oversee site execution and prepare accurate technical drawings. The candidate will be responsible for supervising daily site activities, coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers, and producing shop drawings and as-built drawings to ensure projects are completed as per approved drawings, specifications, and timelines.

Key Responsibilities

Site Supervision Duties:

• Supervise day-to-day site activities and ensure works are carried out as per approved drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and labor teams to maintain smooth site operations.
• Ensure compliance with project schedules, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Monitor material usage, manpower, and site progress; report updates to the Project Manager.
• Conduct site inspections and identify construction issues, proposing corrective actions.
• Ensure proper implementation of interior fit-out, civil, and finishing works.
• Maintain site records including daily reports, material delivery records, and inspections.

Drafting & Technical Duties:

• Prepare and modify shop drawings, working drawings, and as-built drawings.
• Coordinate drawings with MEP and other trades to avoid clashes.
• Revise drawings based on site conditions and consultant/client comments.
• Prepare material take-offs and assist in BOQs when required.
• Maintain updated drawing registers and document control.

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering / Architecture / Drafting or related field.
• Strong site experience combined with drafting capabilities.
• Knowledge of interior fit-out works, civil works, and finishes is essential.
• Experience in UAE/GCC projects is preferred.

Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory); knowledge of SketchUp or other drafting tools is an advantage.
• Good understanding of construction drawings, materials, and site practices.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural and MEP drawings.
• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage site teams and work under pressure.
• Familiarity with basic HSE requirements and site safety standards.

Working Conditions

• Site-based with drafting work at site or office as required.
• Flexible working hours depending on project requirements.
