On-Call Backup Care Nanny (Flexible / Supplemental Income Role)

This is a true on-call position.

• Work is not guaranteed daily
• Some weeks may have multiple assignments
• Other weeks may have little to no work

Schedule & Availability

• Peak Demand: Weekdays (8AM–6PM)
• Additional Opportunities: Evenings & weekends
• Assignments may be:
• Same-day
• Next-day
• Short notice

When marked available, you must be:

• Responsive
• Ready to accept assignments
• Prepared to travel (up to 45–60 minutes)

Compensation & Bonus

• $20/hour
• Opportunities to transition into:
• Private nanny roles ($25–$35+/hr)

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, safe childcare
• Engage children in age-appropriate activities
• Maintain a calm, structured environment
• Communicate professionally with families
• Adapt quickly to new home environments

Requirements

• 2–3+ years professional childcare experience
• Experience with infants through school-age
• Reliable transportation (required)
• CPR/First Aid (or willing to obtain)
• Comfortable with pets
• Professional, dependable, and adaptable

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
