Duties

• Assist skilled tradespeople such as carpenters, electricians, and plumbers in executing construction tasks with precision and efficiency
• Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, setting up scaffolding, and organizing materials to ensure smooth workflow
• Operate basic hand tools, power tools, and machinery safely and effectively under supervision
• Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment for all team members
• Load, unload, and transport materials and supplies around the construction site as needed
• Assist with framing, drywall installation, roofing, or other specific construction activities based on project requirements
• Conduct routine inspections of work areas to identify potential hazards or issues needing attention

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a construction laborer or similar role in the construction industry
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical instructions is a plus
• Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods
• Knowledge of safety procedures and OSHA regulations relevant to construction sites
• Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills and tasks
• Valid driver’s license preferred for transporting materials or equipment when necessary
• Basic understanding of tools, equipment operation, and site safety standards
