Skilled Construction Laborer

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Construction Laborer to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including material handling and equipment organization
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and effectively to support carpentry, masonry, roofing, and other trades
• Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to accurately execute tasks such as framing, drywall installation, or concrete finishing
• Perform tasks related to concrete forming, finishing, and masonry work to ensure structural integrity
• Support installation activities including glass, cabinets, doors, flooring, tile laying, stucco, and plastering
• Conduct routine inspections of work sites for safety hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards
• Assist with demolition, restoration, remodeling projects, and site cleanup to maintain a clean and safe work environment

Experience

• Prior experience working on construction sites or in related trades such as carpentry, masonry, roofing, or concrete work is highly desirable
• Familiarity with construction management processes and estimating is a plus
• Hands-on experience with blueprint reading and schematics interpretation is preferred
• Knowledge of various construction techniques including fabrication, drywall installation, caulking, trim carpentry, welding, and heavy equipment operation is beneficial
• Ability to use hand tools and power tools proficiently while adhering to safety protocols
• Experience in specialized areas such as glass installation, tile laying, or restoration projects is advantageous
• Strong understanding of safety procedures on construction sites combined with the ability to follow detailed instructions ensures quality workmanship
