Handyman / Maintenance Worker

We are a Property Management company that manages properties in Broward and West Palm Beach. We are looking for someone to join our team and take on any task!

Responsibilities:

• Prepare apartments for new residents including drywall repairs, plumbing, installations, painting, etc.
• Conduct regular maintenance tasks
• Perform daily work orders including AC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, etc.
• Regularly installing or repairing appliances and equipment
• Effectively complete all maintenance requests in a timely manner and in the order by which they were received or by level of urgency
• Ability to drive between multiple building locations
• Daily cleaning of common areas, maintaining grounds, doing landscape upkeep, & collecting trash

Skills

• At least 5 years experience as a Maintenance Worker at a rental community or in a similar position
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems
• HVAC / Electrical / Plumbing certifications are a plus!!
• Experience using hand and electrical tools
• Ability to read technical manuals and drawings
• Good communication skills
• Capable of working with a small team and reporting to direct manager
• Attention to detail & sense of urgency
• Physical dexterity/ability to lift more than 50 lbs.

Flexible hours

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
