Skilled Painter

Summary

As a Skilled Painter, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality painting services in both residential and commercial settings. Reporting to the project manager, you will utilize your core skills in residential and commercial painting. Your role will involve performing renovations and ensuring safety on construction sites. Additionally the ability to handle heavy lifting and possess a valid driver's license is essential. Join our team and contribute to transforming spaces with your expertise and craftsmanship.

Job description

• Preparing workspace for the proper adhesion of new paint and finishes by pressure washing, scraping, sanding, etc.
• Ability to move heavy objects such as furniture and mirrors.
• Proper covering of workspace with drop cloths, Plastic/paper and taping.
• Proper application of Caulking and patching
• Painting walls, ceiling, floors, base/trim by various techniques such as spraying, rolling, or brushing.
• Perform special refinishing tasks including wood surface preparation staining and sealing.
• Proper cleaning up workspace and equipment after paint or finishes are applied.
• Reliable transportation to the job and willingness to drive up to an hour for some job locations
• Able and willing to follow instruction per project manager.
• Able to work efficiently with a team and independently.
• Able to pay close attention to detail and have cleanliness.
• Must possess your own hand tools.
• Clean and neat appearance.
• Proactive in solving problems.
• Maintains a positive attitude and values input from others.
• Considerable physical activity. Requires heavy lifting, Pushing or pulling of objects 50+ lbs. Must be capable to climb and work from tall ladders, be on your feet, and withstanding the heat all day.
• Must possess a valid drivers license and reliable transportation.

• Rate based on experience
