Skincare Development & Quality Assurance Manager

Core Purpose

To ensure all skincare products meet high quality, safety, and regulatory standards while leading the development of new formulations and managing in-house production and packaging processes.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product Development

• Develop and improve our skincare, oral care, and personal care formulations (creams, serums, mouthwash, toothpaste, etc.).
• Research and test new ingredients aligned with your brand’s clean and effective philosophy.
• Prepare lab batches, stability tests, and scale-up procedures for production.

2. Quality Assurance & Compliance

• Implement and maintain quality control processes (raw materials, in-process, and finished products).
• Ensure GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) and local regulatory compliance (UAE MOH, ESMA, etc.).
• Maintain batch documentation, specifications, and product dossiers.

3. Production & Packaging Operations

• Operate and oversee filling and packaging lines (tubes, jars, bottles, sachets).
• Set up, calibrate, and troubleshoot packing machinery for creams, liquids, and gels.
• Optimize efficiency and minimize waste during production runs.

4. Continuous Improvement

• Recommend process improvements to enhance quality, shelf life, and consistency.
• Source new packaging materials and machinery if needed.
• Train junior staff on quality and production procedures.

Ideal Candidate Background

• Education: Bachelor’s in Cosmetic Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or Pharmacy.
• Experience: 5–6 years in skincare, personal care, or cosmetic product manufacturing.
• Skills:
• Proven record in formulation and scale-up.
• Deep understanding of QA/QC in cosmetics (GMP, ISO 22716).
• Hands-on experience with packaging machinery (filling, capping, labeling).
• Knowledge of ingredient safety, preservation systems, and stability.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation.
• Experience with natural or clean beauty formulations.
• Knowledge of EU or GCC regulatory filing.
• Ability to create product testing protocols (microbiology, viscosity, stability).
• Understanding of cost optimization and small-batch production.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to RO850.000 per month
