Job Overview

Captured Investigative Agency is seeking a detail-oriented Skip Tracer / Case Manager for a 30–45 day investigative project supporting legal claimant outreach and estate investigations.

This role involves skip tracing living claimants, conducting next-of-kin (NOK) research for deceased claimants, and managing structured case data in Excel-based workflows. Additional project work is likely to follow for strong performers.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced skip tracer who enjoys organized, compliance-driven investigative work.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct skip tracing to locate current phone numbers, email addresses, and addresses
• Perform next-of-kin (NOK) research for deceased claimants
• Review public records, obituaries, and investigative databases
• Update and manage structured Excel spreadsheets with investigation results
• Clearly document findings, confidence levels, and next steps
• Follow established workflows and “do not work” suppression rules

Required Qualifications

• Prior experience in skip tracing, investigations, collections, legal support, or research
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
• Comfortable working extensively in Excel or Google Sheets
• Ability to manage multiple cases independently
• Reliable, organized, and deadline-driven

Preferred (Nice to Have)

• Experience with legal cases, mass torts, or claimant lists
• Experience with NOK / estate research
• Familiarity with investigative or people-search databases
• Understanding of compliance and sensitive data handling

Pay: $40.00 - $55.00 per hour
