Responsibilities

• Diagnose issues with small engines, including carburetors, ignition systems, fuel systems, and electrical components using schematics and technical manuals.
• Perform repairs on a variety of equipment such as lawn mowers, chainsaws, generators, trimmers, and other outdoor power tools.
• Conduct routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, blade sharpening, belt replacements, and engine tune-ups to optimize performance.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering irons, and other specialized tools to complete repairs accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain detailed service records for each repair job while ensuring all work meets safety standards and quality expectations.

Qualifications

• Proven dealership experience or service technician background with a strong foundation in automotive or small engine repair.
• Extensive mechanic experience with knowledge of heavy lifting techniques required for handling large or heavy equipment.
• Hands-on experience with vehicle maintenance, generator repair, equipment repair, and automotive repair is highly desirable.
• Proficiency using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
