Job description:
PDS Administration Company is a dynamic full service vehicle administrator and is looking for a claims adjuster for Small Product Mechanical Team (Powertrain) and ancillary products. Must have auto technician experience. Must have at least 1 year experience mechanical/parts. Previous claims adjusting experience is helpful.
Required experience:
- Must have at least 1 year of Automotive Technician or Parts Department Experience
- Comprehend contractual language and be able to interpret it
- Must be able to verbalize and communicate in written form contract interpretations
- Ability to take direction
- Ability to assimilate and implement policy and procedures
- Negotiate and manage a good working relationship with the shops
- Problem solving and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to work independently
- Document all interactions, research and other claim related information
- Manage time effectively
- Comfortable working on the phone
- Maintains a continual working knowledge of products
- Support other departments as directed
- Applicants must be knowledgeable of Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, Outlook.
Preferred:
- Applicants with over 40-45 WPM typing skills
- Applicants familiar with Avaya phone systems
- Applicants with driveline experience
