Job Summary

The Smart City Project Engineer II will lead the development and implementation of smart city projects. This role involves collaboration with various stakeholders, including municipal authorities, cross functional teams, and technology partners. The Engineer will oversee project planning, design, execution, and evaluation to ensure the successful deployment of smart technologies.

Key Responsibilities Project Management
  • Lead planning & execution, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Develop project timelines, align with development teams
Stakeholder Engagement
  • Coordinate with city officials, community representatives, and businesses to gather requirements and ensure project alignment with community needs.
  • Facilitate meetings and provide updates to stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Technical
  • Design and evaluate smart city solutions, including IoT, data analytics, and other emerging technologies.
  • Work closely with technology vendors and contractors to integrate systems and ensure compliance with city standards.
  • Capability to perform cloud deployments and review the sizing and investigate network issues
  • System integration coordination and technical support.
  • SIT & UAT
Data Management & Analysis
  • Analyze data from various sources to assess the impact of smart city initiatives.
  • Implement data governance practices to ensure accuracy and privacy.
Continuous Improvement
  • Identify opportunities for enhancing operational efficiency and effectiveness in smart city projects.
  • Stay updated with the latest trends in smart city technologies and urban planning.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineer with 8+ years of industry experience
  • Proven minimum 3 years experience in smart city and digitization project customization, integration and deployment experience.
  • Strong technical knowledge of smart city technologies and systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast paced, multi disciplinary environment.
  • Proficient in project management software and data analysis tools.
