Smart Home Automation Engineer technician

We are seeking a skilled Smart Home Automation Technician to install, configure, test, and maintain smart home and building automation systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with home automation technologies, low-current systems, and integrated control platforms to deliver seamless, user-friendly smart living solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1-Installation & Configuration:

• Install and configure smart home systems including:

• Lighting control (DALI, KNX, Zigbee, Z-Wave)

• HVAC and thermostat control

• Curtain/blind control systems

• Smart switches, dimmers, sensors, and keypads

• Audio-visual and multi-room audio systems

• Smart door locks, video door phones, and intercoms

• Integrate smart devices with central control platforms and mobile applications

2-Programming & Testing:

• Perform basic programming and system configuration

• Test system functionality and ensure smooth integration between subsystems

• Customize scenes, schedules, and automation logic as per client requirements

3-Troubleshooting & Maintenance:

• Diagnose and resolve system, network, and device issues

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance

• Upgrade firmware and software when required

4-Networking & Integration:

• Install and configure structured cabling, Wi-Fi networks, routers, and switches

• Ensure secure and reliable network connectivity for smart devices

• Integrate smart home systems with ELV, CCTV, access control, and security systems

5-Documentation & Client Support:

• Maintain installation and configuration documentation

• Provide end-user training and system demonstrations

• Offer post-installation technical support and service visits

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Diploma / ITI in Electrical, Electronics, IT, or Automation

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in smart home or automation systems

• Hands-on experience with platforms such as Control4, KNX, Crestron, Lutron, Savant, Tuya, Home Assistant, or similar

• Knowledge of IP networking, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, and IoT devices

• Ability to read drawings and automation schematics

• Valid driving license (preferred)
