Role Summary

The SME – Hindi is responsible for developing structured Hindi curriculum, creating high‑quality learning materials, ensuring CBSE alignment, and supporting teachers with effective pedagogy and academic delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Curriculum & Content Development


• Design structured and grade‑wise Hindi curriculum for Grades 1–10.

• Create lesson plans, worksheets, activities, reading modules, and assessments.

• Ensure alignment with CBSE competency‑based learning framework.

Teacher Training & Support


• Conduct pedagogy workshops for Hindi teachers.

• Provide ongoing academic guidance, observations, and feedback.

Assessment & Evaluation


• Develop question banks, rubrics, and periodic assessments.

• Support teachers with remedial strategies based on student performance.

Language Enrichment & Innovation


• Develop story‑based, activity‑based, and experiential learning modules.

• Promote Hindi reading, writing, speaking, and vocabulary‑building initiatives.

Academic Quality Assurance


• Audit lesson plans and classroom transactions.

• Ensure consistency and quality across grades through timely reviews.



Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

• Master’s Degree in Hindi or related discipline.

• B.Ed mandatory.

• Minimum 3–6 years of teaching or SME/content development experience.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong command over Hindi language and grammar.

• Ability to design structured curriculum content.

• Effective communication, mentoring, and training skills.

• Creative instructional design and exposure to CBSE academic requirements.
