Job Summary:

Unicent EduServe LLP is seeking an experienced and skilled Maths Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our educational team at our Hafeezpet office in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have 4-8 years of experience in the related field or substantial hands-on experience as a Maths Teacher. The Maths SME will be responsible for developing high-quality educational content, supporting curriculum design, and providing expertise in mathematics education for various academic levels, ensuring alignment with CBSE, state, or other relevant syllabi. This role requires a deep understanding of mathematical concepts, pedagogy, and the ability to create engaging and effective learning materials.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Development:

· Create, review, and refine mathematics content, including lesson plans, worksheets, assessments, and instructional materials for students of various grades (primarily middle and high school levels).

· Ensure content is accurate, engaging, and aligned with CBSE or other specified educational standards.

· Develop problem-solving questions, exercises, and real-world applications to enhance conceptual understanding.

Curriculum Support:

· Collaborate with educators and instructional designers to design and update mathematics curricula.

· Provide subject-specific insights to improve teaching methodologies and learning outcomes.

Teacher Support and Training:

· Assist in training Maths teachers by sharing best practices, solving complex queries, and demonstrating effective teaching strategies.

· Act as a resource person for resolving doubts related to mathematical concepts and pedagogy.

Quality Assurance:

· Review and edit existing Maths content to ensure clarity, correctness, and educational value.

· Stay updated with the latest trends in mathematics education and incorporate innovative approaches into materials.

Project Collaboration:

· Work on educational projects, such as digital learning modules, textbooks, or online courses, as assigned by Unicent EduServe LLP.

· Coordinate with other subject matter experts and teams to integrate interdisciplinary elements where applicable.

Qualifications:

Education:

· Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).

· B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification is an advantage.

Experience:

· 4-8 years of experience in the field of mathematics education or a proven track record as a Maths Teacher with good hands-on experience.

· Prior experience in content development, curriculum design, or educational publishing is a plus.

Skills:

· Exceptional knowledge of mathematics (algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, etc.) up to high school level.

· Strong ability to explain complex concepts in a simple, student-friendly manner.

· Proficiency in creating educational content and assessments.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

· Familiarity with educational tools and software (e.g., MS Office, LaTeX, GeoGebra, or online learning platforms).

Work Environment:

· The role is based at Unicent EduServe LLP’s office in Saradanagar Colony, Hafeezpet, Hyderabad, a well-connected location near Manjeera Pipe Line Road.

· Standard office hours (typically 9:30 AM - 5:00 PM), with flexibility depending on project deadlines.

· Collaborative work with a team of educators, content developers, and management.
