SME Sales Executive

Role Overview

The SME Sales Executive is a front-line sales role responsible for engaging small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) who have shown interest in Company’s platform. This role combines outbound cold calling, live selling and activation, and onboarding conversations to help sellers start winning work through Company.

Sales Executives will speak to business owners across global English-speaking markets, build trust quickly, clearly explain Company’s value, and guide sellers toward either booking an onboarding session or activating directly on the call.

This role requires confidence on the phone, strong communication skills, resilience, and the ability to follow structured sales processes while delivering a high-quality seller experience.

Key Responsibilities

Outbound Sales & Cold Calling

· Make high-volume outbound calls to sellers using Zendesk

· Engage new and lapsed sellers through structured cold-calling frameworks

· Confidently explain Company’s value proposition (for both lead-gen and marketplace model)

· Handle common objections and move conversations forward.

· Determine whether the best next step is:

o Booking an onboarding meeting, or

o Activating and selling on the call

Meeting Booking & Scheduling

· Book onboarding or follow-up meetings using Calendly.

· Guide sellers through availability using simple, conversational questions:

o “Which day works best for you?”

o “Morning or afternoon?”

· Confirm meeting details clearly and professionally.

· Send follow-up emails with Calendly links when sellers cannot commit immediately.

Live Selling & Seller Activation

· Activate sellers directly on a call or during pre-booked activation calls.

· Explain pricing, credits, lead flow, and value clearly and confidently.

· Help sellers select the right categories, locations, and lead settings.

· Ensure sellers understand best practices before purchasing leads.

· Maintain compliance with approved scripts, pricing, and offers.

Onboarding Calls

· Conduct onboarding calls with sellers who have already booked meetings.

· Walk sellers through:

o Activation and start pack options (if required)

o Profile setup

o Lead settings and filters

o Buying and responding to leads

o Best practices to maximise conversion

· Answer questions and remove friction during early platform usage.

· Deliver a positive, consultative seller experience.

Systems, Process & Data Accuracy

· Accurately log all call outcomes, notes, and actions in Zendesk.

· Use correct dispositions for unanswered calls, voicemails, callbacks, and meetings booked.

· Follow outbound cadence rules (call attempts, voicemail, email follow-ups).

· Adhere to compliance, quality, and communication standards.

Key Skills & Experience

· 1–3 years’ experience in outbound sales, inside sales or customer support.

· Comfortable making cold calls to business owners and decision-makers.

· Clear, neutral, and confident spoken English suitable for global markets.

· Strong objection-handling and conversational selling skills.

· Ability to follow structured scripts while sounding natural and authentic.

· Comfortable using CRM or ticketing tools (Zendesk experience is a plus).

· Resilient, target-driven, and comfortable handling rejection.

· Willingness to work aligned to US/UK business hours.

Working Hours & Availability

· If supporting US-Canada - Shift 08:00 PM IST to 05:00AM IST

· If supporting UK-Ireland - Shift 12:30PM IST to 09:30PM IST

· If supporting Australia-New Zealand - Shift 05:00AM IST to 02:00PM IST

Interview Process

· Screening with Talent Partner

· 1st Stage - Interview with Hiring Manager (30 mins)

· 2nd Stage - Technical Task & Interview (60 mins

3rd Stage - Values interview (30 mins)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
