Smoke & Vape Shop Associate - Clearfield

Position Overview:

We are seeking a friendly, knowledgeable, passionate, and hardworking self-starter to join our team as a Smoke & Vape Shop Associate. As a part of our store's transformation under new ownership, we are committed to creating a clean, inviting, and unique environment that stands out from the rest of the industry. This position offers significant growth opportunities across our 8 stores throughout the Wasatch Front and beyond.

Responsibilities:

• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, making recommendations, and helping customers find the products they are looking for.
• Operate a cash register accurately and efficiently. Comfortably handle cash, credit card, and check payments.
• Count money to start and end each shift, and reconcile any discrepancies.
• Restock inventory. Ensure products are well-organized, labeled, and properly displayed. Monitor inventory levels and place new orders.
• Keep the store environment presentable, clean, and inviting. Perform regular cleaning tasks. Ensure shelves, displays, and product signage are visually appealing.
• Maintain in-depth product knowledge. Stay current with industry trends, new products, and relevant regulations to provide accurate and helpful info to customers.
• 100% adherence to all applicable laws and company policies related to the sale of state and federally regulated products.
• Work collaboratively with the store team to achieve sales targets, operational goals, and exceptional customer experiences. Assist colleagues during busy periods, share knowledge, and contribute to a positive team culture.
• Create weekly purchase orders to restock the stores' products.

Qualifications:

• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
• Strong customer service skills and a friendly personality
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities
• Attention to detail and accuracy when handling cash
• Demonstrable product knowledge
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
• Must be at least 21 years old
