Duties

Prepare and blend a variety of smoothies, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met with precision.
Take customer orders accurately using POS systems processing transactions swiftly and efficiently.
Provide friendly, attentive service to all guests, answering questions about menu options and dietary preferences.
Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by handling ingredients properly and following food preparation protocols.
Manage cash handling and cashiering duties with accuracy, including basic math calculations for transactions.
Restock ingredients and supplies regularly to ensure the smoothie bar is always ready for busy periods.
Assist in food handling, serving snacks or light food items, and supporting overall café operations to enhance guest experience.

Requirements

Previous barista experience or food service background, especially within cafés or the food industry.
Familiarity with POS systems such as Square POS
Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders during peak hours smoothly.
Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude that creates a welcoming environment.
Knowledge of food safety practices, proper food handling, and basic math for cash handling and retail math calculations.
Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods in a fast-paced setting.
Experience with food preparation, serving, and maintaining cleanliness standards is highly desirable. Pay: $15.49 - $17.00 per hour
