As a key team member, you’ll play an essential role in maintaining high standards of food safety, quality, and service excellence.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of smoothies, beverages, and light food items with precision and flair
Operate POS systems such Square POS
Greet customers warmly, answer questions about menu options, and recommend products to enhance their experience
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food prep stations and serving counters
Handle cash transactions, perform basic math calculations for sales and change, and manage cash handling procedures
Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling practices at all times
Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining quality standards

Qualifications

Previous barista or food service experience preferred, especially in cafés or retail environments
Familiarity with POS system is highly desirable
Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively
Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food preparation techniques
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
Basic math skills for cashiering, cash handling, and retail math calculations
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks involved in food preparation and serving
A passion for healthy foods, smoothies, or the food industry is a plus
