About Us:

We're seeking an experienced Database Administrator (DBA) to join our team. As a DBA, you will be responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing our databases across multiple cloud platforms, including Snowflake and Azure.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Database Management: Manage and maintain databases on Snowflake and Azure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.

2. Data Modeling and Design: Design and implement data models, database structures, and indexing strategies to optimize query performance.

3. Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize database performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks and issues.

4. Data Security and Compliance: Ensure data security and compliance with regulatory requirements, implementing access controls and data encryption as needed.

5. Backup and Recovery: Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability.

Requirements:

1. 5+ years of experience as a Database Administrator (DBA).

2. 2+ years of experience with Snowflake and Azure.

3. Strong understanding of database concepts, data modeling, and database design.

4. Experience with SQL and proficiency in writing complex queries.

5. Knowledge of cloud-based databases, including Snowflake and Azure.

6. Experience with database performance optimization, troubleshooting, and backup/recovery.

7. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop creative solutions.

8. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have:

1. Experience with Agile development methodologies.

2. Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD, automation, etc.).

3. Familiarity with data warehousing and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.
