JOB TITLE: Temporary Soccer Photographer
REPORTING TO: Director of Operations
DEPARTMENT: Media & Communications
LOCATION: Bronx, NY

POSITION OVERVIEW: The primary role of the Soccer Photographer is to capture high-quality photos and video content during FolaFutbol tournaments, practices, and events. You will be responsible for documenting players, coaches, and key moments that represent the FolaFutbol brand across social media, promotional materials, and organizational records. This is a seasonal position with potential for continued engagement based on performance and organizational needs.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Capture high-quality action and portrait photography during tournaments and practices
• Edit and deliver final images in a timely manner following each event
• Work closely with FolaFutbol leadership to understand content needs and priorities
• Ensure all photos and videos meet brand standards and are suitable for social media and promotional use
• Organize, label, and submit all media files in an organized format as directed
• Maintain professionalism and a positive presence around players, families, and staff
• Be available for scheduled events including weekends and outdoor venues
• Assist in capturing content for FolaFutbol's growing media presence across platforms

WHO YOU ARE:

• Experience in sports or event photography required
• Proficiency in photo editing software (Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, or equivalent)
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Strong eye for composition, lighting, and capturing fast-paced action
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong communication skills and ability to take direction from leadership
• Portfolio or samples of previous sports or event photography required
• Experience photographing youth sports is a plus

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be available on weekends and holidays for scheduled tournaments and events
• Must be comfortable working outdoors at parks and public venues across New York City
• Must be able to carry and manage photography equipment throughout events

COMPENSATION: This position has an estimated hourly pay range of $25–$35 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience. Final compensation is based on skill set, portfolio quality, and depth of relevant experience. We welcome direct conversations with each candidate about compensation during the initial call.

Pay: $22.50 - $35.00 per hour
