Position Summary

We're looking for a Social & Community Manager to orchestrate great content across partners — our design agency, internal team and creator network — while owning community and brand voice on TikTok, Meta, LinkedIn, and YouTube. You'll set the strategy, brief the right people, deploy content, monitor what works to optimize, and shape how Top Cup shows up.

This isn't a "post three times a week" job. You'll help define our brand voice, build systems for creator and influencer management, identify what content engages and converts, and partner closely with the team on paid social creative. You care about community as much as content — you know our top creators by name, you live in the replies, and you understand that how a brand shows up there matters as much as the post itself.

Key Responsibilities

Content Strategy & Production

  • Own the content strategy and calendar across social platforms, ensuring alignment with our business priorities and overall marketing goals
  • Adapt and manage video content for TikTok, Meta, and YouTube
  • Brief and collaborate with our design agency, internal team, and creator network to produce high quality brand-led and UGC content
  • Manage social content end to end — ideation, briefing, reviews, approvals, and deployment
  • Balance brand storytelling, product in situ occasions, trending moments, and community-first content across the calendar
  • Write sharp, on-brand captions, scripts, and hooks
  • Maintain visual and tonal consistency across feed, stories, and platforms
  • Spot trending formats, sounds, and cultural moments — and move fast to capitalize
  • Lead social around new product launches and promotions: new drops, sports seasons, retail expansions, and other seasonal pushes
  • Contribute to owned channels — blog, email, product pages — as needed and to drive consistency of brand voice and messaging
  • Lead weekly meetings to align with internal team on social media strategy and reporting
  • Develop monthly reporting for leadership review including recommendations for how we may want to shift social and content strategy to better support with business goals
  • Bonus: jump in front of the camera or behind the edit when speed or authenticity calls for it

Creator & Influencer Management

  • Collaborate with agency partners and internal team to support our affiliate creator network
  • Align on target creators and support agency with briefing, activation, relationship building with top creators
  • Source, vet, and onboard new influencers and UGC creators aligned with the brand
  • Write briefs that give talent clear direction without diluting their voice and vibe
  • Track creator performance and double down on partnerships driving real GMV, engagement, and brand lift
  • Manage sample and product seeding in coordination with ops, marketing and sales

Community Engagement

  • Own engagement across TikTok, Meta, and YouTube — comments, DMs, and mentions, in a voice that's genuinely Top Cup
  • Monitor brand sentiment; surface trends, feedback, and product opportunities to the team
  • Curate and amplify the best UGC for reposting, paid amplification, and website use
  • Build the community flywheel: an engaged following that buys again and tells their friends
  • Leverage reviews and referrals to build a network of Top Cup brand ambassadors

Brand Voice & Paid Media Collaboration

  • Partner with the Chief Brand Officer to define and evolve Top Cup's brand personality across every channel and touchpoint
  • Work with our paid media agency so organic learnings inform paid creative — and top-performing organic and UGC content gets amplified
  • Supply a steady pipeline of scroll-stopping creative (video, static, UGC) for paid testing
  • Bring a platform-native POV to creative reviews and paid strategy

Trends & Competitive Insight

  • Track platform changes, algorithm shifts, and new features (Reels, Shorts, TikTok Shop updates)
  • Watch competitor and adjacent-brand activity across drinkware, CPG, and lifestyle aligned to Top Cup key occasions
  • Translate what's working (and what's not) into clear recommendations for content, creators, and paid strategy
  • Other needs based on business and growth needs

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years in social, content, or community for a consumer, CPG, or lifestyle brand
  • Experience briefing and directing creative partners — agencies, in-house design, freelancers, or creators — to produce on-brand content at speed
  • Deep fluency in TikTok: the algorithm, the culture, what actually performs
  • Experience running creator or influencer programs end-to-end — briefing, tracking, relationship-building
  • Data-informed: you read analytics and tie content decisions to business outcomes
  • Highly organized — content calendar, creator roster, community inbox; nothing slips
  • You genuinely love engaging with communities online
  • Bonus: you can create content yourself when needed — videos, TikTok edits, scrappy product shots
  • Bonus: TikTok Shop affiliate programs, Spark Ads, or GMV Max
  • Bonus: design or video editing chops (CapCut, Premiere, Canva)
  • Bonus: blog, email, or website content experience
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, early-stage growth environment.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
