About Marco Fishing Company

Marco Fishing Company operates premium fishing charters and adventure experiences around Marco Island, Florida. Our captains and guests create unforgettable on-the-water moments every day — from shark catches to dolphin encounters and sunset cruises. We’re now looking to expand beyond the dock by building a dedicated digital brand and revenue stream around our fishing and boating lifestyle.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a Social Media & Brand Partnerships Manager who can turn our daily charter content into a thriving online business. This person will own the strategy, growth, and monetization of our digital presence — including Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok — with the goal of building brand partnerships, sponsorships, and other revenue opportunities.

You’ll collaborate closely with our captains and team to plan and direct the type of content we need, oversee editing and posting schedules, and build relationships with brands that align with the Marco Fishing lifestyle (e.g., outdoor gear, travel, boating, and fishing brands).

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Strategy & Direction
  • Develop and execute a content strategy that showcases our fishing charters, captains, and lifestyle.
  • Identify what types of video/photo content are needed and coordinate with the team to capture it.
  • Oversee editing, posting, and platform optimization to drive engagement and audience growth.
  • Channel Growth & Monetization
  • Grow and manage Marco Fishing’s social channels (YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok).
  • Implement strategies for monetization — including YouTube revenue, affiliate links, merchandise, and brand partnerships.
  • Track analytics and engagement to measure ROI and growth.
  • Brand Partnerships
  • Identify, pitch, and secure partnerships and sponsorships with relevant outdoor and lifestyle brands.
  • Negotiate contracts and deliverables that align with our content and audience.
  • Maintain strong relationships with partners and influencers.
  • Community Building
  • Foster a strong online community around the Marco Fishing lifestyle.
  • Engage with followers, respond to comments, and highlight customer experiences.

Ideal Candidate

  • Proven experience managing and growing social media channels — especially YouTube and Instagram.
  • Demonstrated ability to monetize content or secure brand deals.
  • Strong understanding of content marketing, influencer partnerships, and digital trends.
  • Creative eye for storytelling and brand alignment.
  • Comfortable working with a small, fast-moving team and directing content capture in the field.
  • Familiarity with fishing, boating, or coastal lifestyle industries a major plus.

Compensation

  • Base salary, monthly retainer, and/or performance-based incentives tied to revenue growth and brand deals.
  • Flexible schedule; potential for remote work with occasional on-site content days in Marco Island.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
