POSITION OVERVIEW: This role is for someone who sees social media as a ministry, not just a marketing channel. You understand that a 60-second Reel can move someone from curious to committed. You know how to speak to a major donor, a monthly giver, and a 25-year-old encountering global missions for the first time — and you can craft content that resonates with each.
You’re as comfortable as a video editor as you are in a strategy doc, and you get genuinely energized by campaigns that connect hearts to a cause bigger than themselves.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

This position may involve both domestic and international travel up to 25% per calendar year.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a team member to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This is a largely sedentary role; however, some standing is required. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move objects up to 20 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds.
SECTION IV: QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)
● A follower of Jesus Christ with a servant heart for missions and nurturing believers.
● Passion for the Word of God and provision of the Word for every people group.
Bachelor’s Degree Required. Will consider candidates with extensive portfolios and outcomes equivalent to those with degrees.
2+ years of experience in marketing, communications, public relations, or advertising with a social media focus.
1+ years of experience with social media tools such as Meta Business Suite and Business Manager.
Copywriting ability that is compelling, authentic, and mission-accurate
Ability to research online platforms and come up with a plan.
Strong understanding of platform algorithms and native content formats
Proficiency with social scheduling and analytics tools (Hootsuite, Later, Sprout Social, Meta Business Suite, etc.)
Experience with Meta Ads Manager or willingness to learn quickly
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as an effective member of a team.
Flexibility with the ability to work well under pressure and consistently meet deadlines. Strong time management and organizational skills with attention to detail.
SECTION V: SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: (Certifications, licensure, physical):
3+ years of experience in digital and social media marketing
Portfolio showcasing campaign work
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated video editing skills (Adobe Premiere, CapCut, DaVinci Resolve, or similar)
Experience in global missions, faith-based nonprofit, or church communications
Graphic design skills (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite)
Familiarity with CRM tools and donor communication platforms (Virtuous, Raise Donors Salesforce, or similar platforms etc.)
Photography skills
Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and short-form video content experience
Knowledge of social to email funnel integration
