ABOUT ATHLETIFREAK
ATHLETIFREAK is a performance athletic apparel brand built for real athletes, real movement, and real conditions — from marathon start lines to triathlon finish lines. We design gear that works as hard as the person wearing it. We are a lean, fast-moving team with big ambitions, and every role here carries real ownership. We are looking for a Social Media Coordinator to own our day-to-day presence across platforms. You will create content, manage the calendar, engage our community, and translate the ATHLETIFREAK brand into posts that actually land with athletes. This role is for someone who knows the platforms, moves fast, and takes real pride in the work.
WHAT YOU'LL OWN
- Day-to-day social media calendar and execution across Instagram, TikTok, and relevant platforms
- Content creation — graphics, captions, Reels, Stories — that reflects the brand and performs
- Copy: sharp, on-brand, human. Not press releases. Not filler.
- Community management — comments, DMs, athlete interactions — handled with authenticity and speed
- Weekly and monthly performance reporting with real insights and actionable recommendations
- Campaign content coordination with the creative and marketing teams around launches and key moments
- Influencer and ambassador content logistics
- Platform trend monitoring — you act on what is working before it is over
- Live event coverage and content capture during race weekends and brand activations
WHAT WE REQUIRE
- 2–4 years of social media management experience for a brand (apparel, fitness, or lifestyle preferred)
- Strong copywriting — captions that feel like a person wrote them and drive actual engagement
- Hands-on content creation: you shoot, edit, and post without waiting for a production team
- Proficient with Instagram, TikTok, and basic design and editing tools (Canva, Lightroom, CapCut, or similar)
- Organized and consistent — you hit deadlines and nothing falls through.
- Attention to detail – Proofread all content meticulously to maintain brand voice and professionalism
- Genuine intuition for what performs on social and why
STRONG PLUS
- Personal connection to running, triathlon, or fitness culture
- Experience with paid social or boosting organic content
- Photography or videography skills that go beyond a phone
- Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator
Pay: $38,000.00 - $48,000.00 per year
