Social Media and Marketing Manager

Poseidon Pools is a family-owned pool construction and hardscape company serving the Santa Clarita Valley and surrounding areas. We’re looking for a creative, organized, and proactive Social Media & Marketing Manager to help us elevate our digital presence and support our continued growth.

This role is ideal for someone who loves content creation, understands local marketing, and enjoys managing multiple platforms with a consistent brand voice.

What You’ll Do

• Plan, create, and schedule social media content across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn (TikTok optional but a plus)
• Capture and edit photo + video content from job sites (drone footage a bonus)
• Manage community engagement: comments, DMs, tags, and local social activity
• Maintain and update our Wix website (basic edits, SEO adjustments, photo updates, service pages)
• Run, optimize, and monitor Yelp Ads, Nextdoor Ads, and other digital campaigns
• Track analytics and provide simple monthly performance summaries
• Assist with marketing strategy, seasonal campaigns, and general brand development
• Support additional digital tasks as needed (Google Business Profile updates, email newsletters, etc.)

What We’re Looking For

• 1–3+ years experience in social media management, digital marketing, or similar role
• Strong understanding of IG + FB content styles, reels, and engagement best practices
• Familiarity with Wix, basic SEO, and website content updates
• Experience running paid campaigns (Yelp, Nextdoor, Meta Ads, etc.)
• Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and be proactive
• Strong copywriting skills and eye for visual content
• Bonus: photography/video skills, Canva experience, familiarity with SCV communities

Hours & Compensation

• Part-time: 10–20 hours per week
• Flexible schedule with occasional site visits
• Competitive pay rate, based on experience
