Social Media and Marketing Manager

Overview:

A newly operating pediatric dental office in Las Vegas is seeking a new Part-Time Social Media Manager to support content creation and posting across multiple social media platforms. This is a hybrid, contract role with flexible hours and low weekly time commitment.

This position is ideal for someone looking to grow their existing professional social media experience in an independent contractor capacity.

Responsibilities:

• Develop short-form content strategies for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube
• Respond to and engage with potential customers through messaging, comments, etc.
• Ideate, edit and enhance presence in content, including static images, carousels, and other artwork
• Familiar with content posted as ads or promoted material
• Create and pitch content concepts appropriate for a pediatric dental audience
• Schedule posts using content management tool Buffer
• Stay current on social media trends and platform algorithm updates
• Perform light video editing for short-form content
• Collaborate with leadership and contractors to align content with business goals

Qualifications:

• Comfortable with and willing to work as independent contractor role (1099)
• Experience using social media platforms in a content creation or professional capacity (not just personal browsing)
• Familiarity with short-form video editing tools such as CapCut or Instagram Edits
• Experience using content scheduling software (Buffer preferred)
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively, and manage time effectively
• Comfortable working in a hybrid environment with some in-office presence

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour
