Job Description:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Social Media Assistant to join our dynamic marketing team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in promoting our social media marketing efforts across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube, while also contributing to blog posts, newsletters, and local marketing campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media Management:

  • Prepare engaging storytelling content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn and YouTube that increase brand awareness.
  • Monitor and respond to audience interactions across all platforms.

Content Creation:

  • Draft blog posts that resonate with our audience and align with our brand voice.
  • Prepare engaging newsletters to keep our email subscribers informed and connected.
  • Develop online downloadable guides that provide value to our audience and increase our email subscriber list.

Video Management:

  • Edit and post Reels on all social media platforms.
  • Review and analyze analytics from all social media platforms.

Local Marketing Coordination:

  • Plan and execute local marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness.
  • Identify local networking events that align with our company's mission.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required (any subject).
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to create compelling content.
  • At least 1 year of marketing experience.
  • Basic video editing skills, including familiarity with apps such as CapCut, is required.
  • Experience with Canva and MailChimp (or any email marketing platform) is required.
  • Familiarity with AI tools such as ChatGPT is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A creative mindset and a passion for social media trends.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
