Valhallan Esports Training is the leading youth esports academy focused on teamwork, leadership, and digital skill development through gaming. We’re growing fast and need a creative, data-driven Social Media Associate who can turn our arena’s energy into viral engagement across every platform.

Position Overview

The Social Media Associate will manage and grow Valhallan’s online presence across Facebook (Meta), Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, using Google Analytics and platform insights to track performance and optimize engagement. You’ll create content, run campaigns, engage with our community, and help position Valhallan as the go-to hub for youth esports in Southern California.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and schedule engaging posts, videos, and stories across all social channels
• Develop short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, YouTube Shorts) highlighting gameplay, tournaments, and player spotlights
• Monitor analytics, engagement metrics, and community growth using Google Analytics, Meta Insights, and platform dashboards
• Coordinate with coaches, players, and event staff to capture authentic, high-energy content from our arena
• Run paid ad campaigns and promotions for camps, memberships, and tournaments
• Engage with followers, respond to comments/messages, and build positive online community interactions
• Collaborate on esports marketing campaigns, influencer outreach, and brand partnerships

Qualifications

• 1–2 years experience managing brand or organization social accounts (internships accepted)
• Proven success with Meta Business Suite, Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts
• Strong understanding of esports, gaming culture, and youth-focused engagement
• Skilled in content creation, video editing (CapCut, Canva, or Adobe tools a plus)
• Working knowledge of Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, and social performance reporting
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, creative environment

Preferred Experience

• Experience in esports, youth programs, or sports marketing
• Familiarity with gaming titles like Fortnite, Valorant, Minecraft, and Rocket League
• Understanding of SEO and social growth strategies

Pay: $17.00 - $27.45 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 24 per week
