Social Media & Community Associate

Studio Nooshin is a luxury beauty studio based in Franklin, Tennessee specializing in elevated hair, skin, and brow services. We are seeking a creative and motivated Summer Social Media & Community Intern to support our digital presence, content creation, and community engagement efforts.

Overview

The Social Media & Community Associate will assist with planning, creating, and managing content across Studio Nooshin’s social media platforms while supporting community partnerships and brand initiatives. This role provides real-world exposure to social media marketing, brand storytelling, and audience engagement within the beauty and lifestyle space.

Key Responsibilities Social Media Content

• Assist with planning and organizing weekly social media content calendars
• Film and edit Instagram Reels, TikTok videos, and Stories
• Capture in-studio content including hair transformations, skincare services, and client experiences
• Create graphics and captions aligned with the Studio Nooshin brand voice
• Monitor engagement and assist with responding to comments and messages
• Track performance metrics and identify opportunities to improve engagement and reach

Content Creation

• Capture behind-the-scenes footage of stylists and services
• Assist with product photography and short-form video creation
• Support monthly photoshoots and marketing campaigns
• Help organize content libraries for future use

Community Outreach

• Assist with partnerships and collaborations with local businesses and influencers
• Support planning and execution of studio events and brand activations
• Help coordinate influencer visits and content collaborations

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a college or university program in marketing, communications, graphic design, digital media, or a related field
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and current digital marketing trends
• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator); video editing skills are a plus
• Familiarity with social listening tools, Google Analytics, and keyword research concepts
• Knowledge of social media management platforms such as Hootsuite, Buffer, or similar tools
• Strong attention to detail, including proofreading and editing content before publishing
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude
• Passion for beauty, wellness, branding, and social media storytelling

Bonus Qualifications

• Photography or videography experience
• Experience with TikTok or Instagram content creation
• Event planning or influencer marketing exposure
• Experience with Canva or short-form video editing tools such as CapCut

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 3.0 – 5.0 per week

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Franklin, TN 37067
